Not spelling, ran out of characters. These are the facts. A small business by rule is a company that has less than 500 employees.
You people don’t get it. The $ 250,000 is for personal income taxes. Obama want to raise many other business taxes. I will find it, but 1 time I came up with over 40 Taxes I pay a year.

  1. Forget War Buy More says:

The majority of small businesses make under $ 250,000.

  2. Albus Dumbledore says:

Because Obama is incompetent liberal idiot.

  3. Jon M says:

actually mc cain will raise taxes on small business health insurances which goes back on business owner and employees of that business, stop saying what fixed news farts,it’s not healthy

  4. bpgagirl22 says:

Well, then that should tell you Obamanites why precisely you shouldn’t vote for the idiot! DUH!

GIVE McCAIN A CHANCE TO DO SOME GOOD WORK PEOPLE!

  5. Kenny D says:

Like the first guy said most small business owners do not make 250k per yr only 1 % of the small business earn over 250k

  6. Chris says:

Where are you getting your data? Fox News? Do some research he will not raise taxes on small business only people earning an income of $ 250,000 a year. Which is rightfully so.

  7. Sarah T says:

Look, you don’t support Obama, that’s fine. But know the truth about him. His plan would NOT raise taxes on one million small businesses. That’s an exaggeration to the point of being a lie. They marked that claim (made by Palin) as FALSE on both FactCheck and politifact. See for yourself if you don’t believe me.

You should really check out http://www.FactCheck.org or http://www.politifact.com. Non-partisan sites that will blow your mind.

I’m sorry, but who’s rule is that?

Small business taxes vary by state, county and city. The federal government generally judges a business by it’s net profits…

EDIT for BPGAGirl: McCain had 20 years in the Senate to do some good work. Where is it? The fact is, if he’d shown any leadership within his party, they’d have adopted his doctrine, rather than called him a maverick. What is it with Republicans trying to put forward proven failures, do you guys just think they’re due up?

  9. Java says:

With regard to some of the other answers, the small businesses that do net over $ 250 K employ millions of people. And many of the taxpayers that Obama will tax to pay for health care and everyone else’s tax cut are small businesses.

As usual, the dems try to gloss over, misrepresent and sidestep the many flaws in everything they propose.

  10. Obama & Supporters have no sence says:

its too bad he’ll raise taxes… but no one will offer anyone a job so it’s really pointless…most small businesses owners are laying off ppl so they can take care of there own family’s. I know we lay ed off our employees and now we just have to get in there and do the work ourselves…

  11. Karen B says:

Yes that is so. And when that happens, millions will lose their jobs. There aren’t enough people making over $ 250k to pay for all the social programs Obama will institute. If you think the economy is bad now, hold onto your hat.

  12. Charles C says:

Because he wants us all on welfare

  13. kaioshingt says:

According to the “Statistics on Business Size” From the Census Bureau, only about 13% of Americans work for small business.
This is a rough time in the economy guys… we should all be pitching in to keep this country afloat.
I had no idea small businesses were less patriotic than I am.
