Question by I love Atreyu (from book): Can’t we all agree more taxes discourage small business?
There are all these little shops in all the little down-towns around here. Well they are slowly going out of Business, a nearby town only has one left. These little Business have a really hard time staying afloat as it is in this economy, let alone hiring people and expanding.

So can’t we all agree, reps, Dems, libs, and Conservatives alike, that the last thing these little Business need is more taxes on their shoulders?

Its a shame Liberals want to punish successful people with taxation because they have given up on themselves.

    and that has what to do with taxing the large incomes of their owners?

    You can’t connect the income tax or estate tax to small business.

    You want to help the small business owner? increase capital gains taxes so more people will invest in a business instead of in stocks.

    I agree. If it were up to me the only tax we would have would be a sales tax no income tax or anything like that.

    This is why we only want to tax the rich. Less power to big businesses, more power to small businesses. More competition = happy free market society.

    But nooooooooooo. Conservatives whine about “redistributing the wealth” BS.

    Even liberals agree about that which you say but it is what they want to have happen. Theirs is to totally destroy Capitalism in America in favor of Communism. All who support Obama desire a Communistic system as well. Obama’s stated change for America is not what he led the voter to believe. His idea for change is from Capitalism to Communism. The only descriptive word he used during the campaign was “change” never describing to the voter his real intent. The voter was gullible, easily deceived, I pray he/she will not be so again.
