    It really depends on what you consider small business. Less than 250 employees? Yes they have investors. Ma and Pa, probably a family investment.

    A coffee shop, for example, can have less than 250 empoyees, have a signature coffee, and have 20 stores. All they have to do is have a company like folgers roast and package for them.
