Question by loka: where can I find tax help for a small business withouth getting broke????
I have a small business (Home day care) I know its going to be complicated to do my taxes for this year. I just started going to school for accounting since i can not afford an accountant.
I need to find someone that knows how to do small business tax preparation so I can get some of my money that I invest into the business. Is anybody know a good and affordable accountant here in Fairfax County, VA?????

    Contact your state or local Enrolled Agent Society for a listing of EAs in your area. Or look for them in the phone book with EA after their name.

    EAs have demonstrated competence by passing a difficult test given by IRS, unlike unenrolled preparers who, In VA may have NO minimum standard of education or competence. Also, unlike CPA’s who by virtue of their ability to render opinions on financial statements (EAs do not) have much greater liability, EAs tend to be tax specialists AND more affordable.
