Small business taxes in Nevada?

Question by P’Lod: Small business taxes in Nevada?
I have been unemployed for months with absolutely no luck finding a job, so I’m thinking about starting my own freelance business instead. I’ve done freelance before and even without insurance or benefits, I enjoyed it a lot.

Since the tax rules on small businesses in Nevada are different than in most states, am I required to keep the same records as I would elsewhere? Would I be required to pay taxes on my own small business at all? If so, how would they be different than in any other state.
